AIM FORM

Free online voting: quick, ranked or by splitting points

Three ways to decide as a group, depending on what you need: a question with options to decide fast, a ranking when there are several good options, and a split of points when how much each one is backed matters. Voters don't need an account.

Create a free vote

What it does

Quick decision
Type the question and the options and share it: link, QR code and live results, in a minute.
Ranked choice with a double count
Everyone orders the options. It's counted by points (Borda) and by rounds (IRV), and if the two counts disagree, it tells you.
Split the points
Everyone splits 100 points across the options: it measures how much each one matters. It works for participatory budgeting.
One person, one vote
One answer per device or, if you have a membership roll, single-use ballots; and the vote can be secret.
Live results or at the close
Visible while people vote, or held until the closing time so nobody gets swayed.
Explained, not just counted
If you ask for it, the AI writes a reading of the result, marked as its own and with its figures checked against the count.

How it works

  1. Choose how to vote: a question, a ranking or a split of points.
  2. Share the link or the QR code; voters don't need an account.
  3. Follow the count live and, at the close, the result with its explanation.

Frequently asked questions

Do voters need an account?

No. They vote from the link or the QR code, in their phone's or computer's browser.

How do I stop someone voting twice?

By default, one answer per device, which stops casual repeat voting. If you need to be sure, use ballots: a single-use code for each person on the roll.

Which count does the ranking use?

The two reference methods: by points (Borda), which rewards consensus, and by rounds (IRV), which looks for a majority. If they agree, the decision is solid; if not, it tells you.

Is it really free?

Yes. The only paid option will be removing the AIM FORM badge.
