Event registration: capacity, waiting list and QR tickets on your phone
For a talk, a course, a trip or the club dinner: set the capacity, or the places for each option, and the form does the rest. It shows how many places are left, puts latecomers on a waiting list and moves it up when someone frees their place. Everyone with a place gets a QR ticket, and at the door you read it with your phone.

What it does
- Total capacity or places per option
- One limit for the whole event, places for each group or slot, or both. People see how many are left and whatever fills up closes by itself.
- A waiting list that moves up by itself
- Whoever arrives when it's full joins the list, in order, and sees their position. If someone frees their place, the first person who fits moves up and, if they left their email, is told.
- The last place, for one person only
- The server counts and saves in the same step: two people never get the same place.
- QR tickets
- Everyone with a place gets a QR code, on the thank-you page and at the link to their place. While waiting, it isn't valid; if they free the place, it stops being valid.
- The door, with your phone camera
- Read the QR signed in, see who it is and record the entry. A second read warns they're already in, and since when. Anyone else only sees whether the ticket is valid.
- Who came, in the responses
- The table, the CSV and the summary show who has a place, who's waiting and who has come in.
How it works
- Pick a template or create your form.
- In the settings, set the capacity and, if you like, the waiting list and QR tickets.
- Share the link; on the day, read the tickets with your phone.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an app to read the tickets?
No: the phone camera opens the QR link. Signed in to AIM FORM on that phone, you see who it is and record the entry.
What if someone shows a ticket that's already been used?
When you read it you'll see “Already in, at…”, with the time. Each ticket is recorded once only.
Can I sell tickets?
No: AIM FORM doesn't charge for tickets. It's for free events, or for managing the places of one that's paid for elsewhere.
Is it free?
Yes: capacity, waiting list and QR tickets, with no limit on events. The only paid option will be removing the AIM FORM badge.
