Secret ballot
Each person on the roll gets a single-use ballot and votes from their phone, without signing up. The vote is secret: the organisers see how many ballots have been used, but not which, or how anyone voted. When voting closes, the results are published automatically.
Who it's for: Associations, parents' groups, clubs, co-ops and any group that needs a secret vote.

When to use it
- You need to vote on something sensitive, and people will only say what they think if the vote is secret.
- Each person on the roll must vote just once, without accounts or sign-ups.
- You want a result with exact figures and minutes, not a poll in a group chat.
What's inside and why
- A truly secret ballot
- The vote isn't linked to the ballot, and the organisers only see how many have been used: not which, nor how anyone voted.
- One person, one vote
- Each ballot works once: nobody votes twice, and nobody off the roll votes.
- A receipt for every voter
- Voters get a receipt to check their vote is in the count, without revealing how they voted.
Tips to get the most out of it
- Replace the question and options with yours before publishing.
- Match the number of ballots to your roll and hand out one per person: by email, printed or by private message. Each code is personal.
- Avoid free-text questions: a signed comment tells who wrote it.
Frequently asked questions
Can the organisers tell how I voted?
No. They see how many ballots have been used, but not which, and your vote isn't linked to your ballot. As on paper, if everyone votes the same way, the result says it all.
Do voters need to sign up?
No. Each person votes with their ballot from the link, without creating an account.
When are the results shown?
They're published automatically when voting closes; while it's open, voters don't see the count. If you'd rather have live results, change it in the editor.
