Award nomination

Anyone can nominate in a category and explain why the nominee deserves the award. The panel scores each one with three criteria — impact, originality and track record, each with its weight — without knowing who nominated, and the ranking builds itself, with its range to show where there's no agreement.

Who it's for: Community, cultural, company and association awards.

When to use it

  • You're opening nominations for an award.
  • You want a panel that scores with clear criteria.
  • You don't want who nominated to influence anything.

What's inside and why

Category
Each nomination in its own: you can then sort each category's ranking with the CSV.
Your name and email
To contact whoever nominated; the panel doesn't see them.

Tips to get the most out of it

  1. Publish the rules and criteria next to the form.
  2. If the public also votes, use the contest vote with the finalists.
  3. Ask anyone who knows a nominee not to score them.

Frequently asked questions

Can the public vote as well?

Yes, with a separate vote: the panel's and the public's are counted separately.

Does the panel see who nominated?

No, if you hide those questions in the evaluation settings (the template already hides them).

What if there's a tie?

Tied nominations share a rank; each one's range helps the panel decide.
