Multiple-choice test
A test that marks itself: multiple-choice, number or short-answer questions, each with its correct answer, points and explanation. On submitting, each student sees their score and what they got wrong; you get the average, how many pass and which questions are hardest, without marking by hand. Swap the sample questions for yours.
Who it's for: Teachers, academies, trainers and instructors.

When to use it
- You want a test or quiz that marks itself.
- You want each student to know straight away what they got wrong and why.
- You want to know which questions are hardest, to go over them in class.
What's inside and why
- Full name
- It doesn't score: it tells you whose score is whose.
- Which are gas giants?
- Several answers: it counts as right when exactly the correct ones are ticked, and it's worth two points.
- What is the name of our galaxy?
- Short answer: accepted regardless of capitals, accents or extra spaces.
Tips to get the most out of it
- Write an explanation for each question: knowing why you got it wrong is what teaches most.
- Set the pass mark in the settings: it's 50% by default.
- If you don't want the answers going round, turn off “Show the answers on submitting” and go over them in class.
Frequently asked questions
Can people see the correct answers before submitting?
No: the correct answers and explanations don't leave the server until the form is submitted; they're not even in the page's code.
Can I change a correct answer afterwards?
Yes: if you marked the wrong one, fix it in the editor and the scores are recalculated in the summary, the CSV and the certificates.
Can someone take it twice?
By default yes, like any form. If you don't want that, limit it to one response per device in the settings, or ask for the email and check the CSV.
