Rules acknowledgement

When someone joins the club, starts the course or joins the team, they confirm they have read and accept the rules with their signature. Paste the rules or link the document; you get the list of who signed and when, and each person gets a PDF receipt.

Who it's for: Clubs, associations, academies, summer camps and teams.

When to use it

  • The club season or the course starts and there are rules to accept.
  • Someone joins the team and you want a record that they've read the rules.
  • You want to know who still has to sign.

What's inside and why

The rules
A heading with the rules or their link: whoever signs confirms they have read and accept them, and it's saved in every receipt.
Any questions or comments?
So nobody signs with doubts: you get them with the response.

Tips to get the most out of it

  1. Paste the rules in the heading or link the document: the receipt keeps the text as it was seen.
  2. If you change the rules, create a new form: each signature stays with the version that was accepted.
  3. Ask for the email so you can remind whoever is missing.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of signature is it?

A simple electronic signature: the typed name and, if the signer likes, a drawn signature, with the server's date and time. It's not an advanced or qualified signature; for an important contract or dealings with a public authority, use a qualified signature.

What does the signer get?

A PDF receipt with their answers, their signature, the date and time, the SHA-256 fingerprint of the record and a code to check it. You download the same receipt from each response.

What if I change the text later?

The receipt shows what the signer saw: the text of each question is saved when they respond. If you change the form later, earlier signatures don't change.
