For associations and professional bodies
What an association, a club or a professional body decides every year: the general meeting with its quorum and minutes, the board election by secret ballot, member consultations and signed membership applications. With one clear rule: what counts in your organisation is set by your statutes, and we tell you what to check.

What it does
- Meetings with quorum and minutes
- One ballot per person, proxy votes and weightings if you use them, live turnout to check the quorum and minutes with the result of each item and its fingerprint.
- Secret-ballot elections
- Single-use ballots: nobody votes twice and nobody knows how each person voted, not even the organiser.
- In the room and remotely
- Everyone votes the same way, with their ballot on their phone: one single count.
- Member consultations
- Opinions on a proposal, priorities by ranking or splitting a budget, with results at the close.
- Signed applications
- Contact details, address and fee type, with the new member's signature and a PDF receipt.
- No overpromising
- We don't claim online voting is valid for everything: it depends on your statutes and the law that applies to you. The guide tells you what to check.
How it works
- Pick a template: general meeting, election, consultation or membership application.
- Check your statutes: who votes, with what quorum and majorities, and whether remote voting is allowed.
- Send out the ballots or the link and, at the close, download the minutes.
Templates to start from
- Association general meetingPrevious minutes, annual report, accounts and budget: each item with its result, turnout against the roll and proxy votes on record.
- Board electionElect the chair and board by secret ballot, one single-use ballot per member. Voters don't see the count until voting closes, and then it's published automatically.
- Secret ballotOne person, one vote, and no vote is linked to anyone: single-use ballots for your roll and results at the close. Free, with no limit on voters.
- Members' consultationA single-use ballot per member, secret voting, priorities by ranking and results at the close, to find out what members think of a proposal.
- Membership applicationContact details, an address with autofill, the membership fee type and the new member's signature, with a PDF receipt. Free.
- Participatory budgetingEach resident splits 100 points across the projects and the result shows how much support each one has, not just which wins. Free.
- Neighbourhood petitionA live counter towards your target, “you are supporter number N”, links to share it and one signature per email. Free.

Frequently asked questions
Can my association vote online?
In Spain, Organic Law 1/2002 leaves how the general meeting works to the statutes (with default rules if they say nothing) and doesn't mention remote voting: if your statutes allow it, go ahead; if not, it's worth updating them. Elsewhere, check the law that governs associations in your country.
What about a professional body?
In Spain, for board elections, Law 2/1974 on Professional Associations says votes are cast “in person or by post”. If your statutes don't provide for electronic voting, use AIM FORM for consultations, not for the official election.
Is the vote really secret?
Yes: the ballot only works once and the vote isn't linked to it or to the time; nobody, not even the organiser, can tell how each person voted.
Is it free?
Yes, with the ballots, the minutes and signatures. The only paid option will be removing the AIM FORM badge.
