COMPARISONS
AIM FORM vs Google Forms
Google Forms is free, simple and sends answers to Sheets: for collecting data inside Google it's hard to beat. The difference shows when you need a vote. To allow one vote per person, Google Forms asks people to sign in and limits answers to one per Google account: anyone without an account is left out, anyone with the link and an account can vote, and someone with two accounts votes twice. AIM FORM solves it with a roll: one single-use ballot per person, no accounts, and a secret ballot.
The differences that matter
A roll, not Google accounts
With single-use ballots, exactly the people on your roll vote, once each, from any phone, without signing up to anything. Google Forms doesn't know who belongs to your association: it only counts Google accounts.
A secret ballot you can check
The organisers see how many ballots have been used, but not which, or how anyone voted. Each voter gets a receipt to check their vote is in the count.
Built for deciding
Preference voting with a double count, results live or at the close, a projector mode for the room and, at the end, a draft of the minutes with the exact figures. Google Forms stops at a response summary.

When Google Forms is the better choice
- If your organisation already works in Google and you want answers in a spreadsheet instantly.
- If you run quizzes with automatic grading.
- If there's no vote involved: for plain data collection, Google Forms does the job.
