COMPARISONS
AIM FORM vs Kahoot!
Kahoot! is a game: timed questions, points for answering fast and a podium at the end. For reviewing in class or livening up a training session, few things work as well, and AIM FORM isn't that: its quiz has no timer or scoring. Where AIM FORM fits is asking the room: votes with the results on the projector, audience questions that get voted up and word clouds, with no accounts and without the 40-participant cap per game of Kahoot!'s free plan.
The differences that matter
No 40-participant cap
According to its plans page for schools, Kahoot!'s free plan (Kahoot! Go) takes 40 participants in a live kahoot, and Kahoot!+ Gold goes up to 200 for $144 a year. In AIM FORM the whole room takes part, each person from their phone.
For deciding, not scoring
Preference voting with a double count, audience questions ranked by votes, word clouds and, at the end, minutes with the figures.
Where Kahoot! wins: the game
Timer, points for speed, a podium and a huge library of questions made by its community. If what you want is a quiz show, Kahoot! is built for it.
