Accessibility statement
AIM FORM aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, and goes for AAA in contrast (7:1). This is a self-assessment: there has been no external audit yet.
What is checked automatically in every version
These checks run before every release and block it if they fail:
Text contrast in forms and results, measured in light and dark mode; touch targets of at least 44 px in the whole app on mobile; every screen a respondent sees (every question type, the form returned with errors, one question at a time, by pages, the confirmation with its receipt, public results, the vote receipt, the data protection information, checking a receipt or a certificate, a closed form and joining with a code) checked with axe-core against the WCAG 2.2 level A and AA rules, on mobile and desktop, in light and dark mode and with a light brand colour; the contrast of controls (field borders, option boxes, stars, the signature box) at least 3:1; errors announced to screen readers, with focus taken to the first one; the order of a ranking announced as you build it; “reduce motion” respected; every page in its correct language, including the text read aloud by screen readers; no expert jargon on first-contact pages; and a pixel comparison of twelve key screens.
Known limitations
The interactive vote-count demo on the home page is operated with buttons, but it is dense to follow with a screen reader. Forms embedded in other websites depend on the accessibility of that website. What creators write in their forms (questions, images, colours) is their responsibility; the app warns about low-contrast colours and adjusts them.
Legal framework
In Spain, Law 11/2023 transposes the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), applicable since 28 June 2025. Whatever its exact scope for this service, we apply its technical criteria.
